#FindingTheGood: This Boy Donated 22,000 Diapers To Single Moms Using His Lemonade Stand Money

September 14, 2020

People. Helping. People. And sometimes kids are the ones who come up with the greatest ideas!

Most kids use summer cash for ice cream or video games, but this 11-year-old boy in Hampton, Virginia had different plans for his summer lemonade stand revenues ...

Cartier Carey wanted to help single moms in his neighborhood with their most basic needs: wipes & diapers.

Through the end of July, Cartier had raised close to $5,000 from the lemonade stand and GoFundMe donations (!), then distributing almost 6,500 diapers with those funds. As of last week, he's at 22,000 diapers, very close to his total goal of 25,000! Incredible.

Cartier's mom told CNN, “He doesn’t want to spend any of the money on himself. He just wants to continue to keep buying diapers and giving each day.”

Cartier, you are a rockstar, a true shining example of #FindingTheGood >>>>
