Tavinya Taylor is 16, lives in the Chicago suburbs and has been undergoing chemotherapy for her Hodgkin’s lymphoma since early this year. She's on her 5th round, but in all of it, she still has the strength to think of others.

She's been making gift baskets of homemade crocheted baby hats & booties & teddy bears, and then adding them to everyday items like soap and rubber ducks for the babies in the Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital NICU.

Tavinya told the hospital in a press released, “I thought, 'Why not do something fun that could bless others? That’s what I was trying to do - brighten their parents’ day and give them hope that it’s going to get better.”

She's already done 9 baskets and has plans for more >>>> see all the pics HERE (click)!
