A Chick-Fil-A restaurant stepped up big time and donated 1,000 meals to a local hospital to ensure all the healthcare workers fighting the COVID-19 coronavirus had a free hot lunch.

The restaurant located in Cascade Park delivered all the meals to the PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington.

The entire staff was so appreciative of Chick-Fil-A's gesture that they could not stop thanking the employees.

The hospital wrote on their own Facebook saying, "We are so grateful to John Dombroski and his team at Chick-fil-A Cascade Park in Vancouver for delivering and serving 1,000 meals to our hard-working caregivers today. Your kindness in a tough time is appreciated more than you can know."

The act of kindness serves as a reminder to reach out and check on your local healthcare providers who are fighting on the front lines of the pandemic. If you have the ability to, help those who are struggling to flatten the curve and surpress the spread of the virus.
