For Kerry-Anne and Michael Gordon, their wedding day was truly one they will never forget.

The couple got married at a small ceremony and then to celebrate the two walked over, in full wedding attire, and joined the protestors on the streets of Philadelphia.

A video is circulating around social media with the two holding hands as the crowd chants "Black Lives Matter," and then the newlyweds raise their fists in solidarity,

It was such a powerful moment not just for the bride and groom, but for all the protestors that are out there fighting for change.

Kerry-Anne told ABC News, "Not only are we feeling the movement of the people ... but I'm meeting my husband, on our wedding day, as a strong black man and a good representative of who we are as people, what our men are like, what our culture is like. It was just a very, very empowering moment for us considering all of this is happening at one moment in one time."

The two, along with 2,500 others, were part of a peaceful demonstration that began outside of the Philadelphia Museum of Art next to the iconic Rocky steps before making its way to City Hall.

Truly a day none of them will forget.
