Erin has all your Tuesday music news with her Deep Dish on Country!

Garth Brooks was a guest on Martina McBride's new podcast and revealed his favorite song to perform live that might surprise people

  • He said fans expect him to love and play his biggest hits including 'Friends in Low Places,' 'Thunder Rolls,' and 'Shameless' BUT his favorite song ever to perform live is 'Callin Baton Rouge!'
  • Brooks said whenever he performs Baton Rogue the crowd gets to another gear and stays that rowdy the rest of the show!
  • Not going to lie when I saw his Dive Bar Tour a few months ago I lost my mind when he sang this song

It has been 15 years since Carrie Underwood auditioned for American Idol!

  • Since that audition, she has become one of the leading females in the country music industry!
  • She celebrated her 15 year anniversary with a sold-out show at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena
  • While on stage Underwood told the crowd to never be afraid to chase their dreams because people told her before that she wouldn't make it and look where she's at now!

Chris Lane got his second #1 single with 'I Don't Know About You'

  • He said its funny because not many people know the actual title of the song and will come up to him and say 'I love your Wrist Tattoo Bible Verse song!'

So proud of this song, proud of my team, thankful for the song writers @hardy @jamesonrodgers @hunterphelpsmusic #ashleygorley ..thank you country radio, @sxmthehighway @spotify @applemusic @pandora anybody and everybody that had a hand in making this a career changing song...I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart... Big shout out to the fans...y’all chose this song for me and you took it to the top! ----
