Even since William Bubb left high school in 1952 to enlist in the Army, he has always wanted to finish and graduate with a high school diploma.

He left school when he was 18 in order to fight in the Korean conflict. He loved fighting for his country, but always wished he went back to earn his degree.

Well, 68 years later his dream came true as he walked across the stage at EC Lincoln High School to receive his diploma as an “Honorary Military Graduate."

To make his accomplishment even sweeter, he was able to graduate alongside his granddaughter. Both became high school graduates on the same day and it is a moment neither of them will ever forget. #GoodVibes
