Erin has all the Nashville gossip on her 'Deep Dish on Country.'

1. Chase Rice is in a little bit of hot water after performing a concert for over 4,000 people in Nashville over the weekend. He posted some videos of the crowd on Instagram with the caption "We back" and you can see no one is social distancing or wearing masks.

  • Many other country artists starting calling him out on social media for performing during a pandemic including Kelsea Ballerini who called him 'selfish.'

  • Maren Morris and Mickey Guyton also spoke out about their disgust.

  • This is what a country music fan and essential worker had to say about the concert 

  • Brian May, vice president of the Brushy Mountain Group, which hosted the Rice concert at the Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary, told Variety on Sunday that "all local requirements were abided by for the recent concert, and numerous precautions were taken."

2. In lighter country news, Dan + Shay appeared on the Not Too Late Show with Elmo and performed an acoustic version of the Sesame Street classic "I Don't Want to Live on the Moon." 

  • The duo said the appearance was a dream come true.
