Rob Kenny has built up an impressive following with his 'Dad, How Do I?' YouTube channel where he uploads instructional videos for solving common household problems with kids who don't have a dad or father figure in their life to call up for help.

His channel has grown significantly in the past few months and many viewers, such as single mothers, widowers, or kids with no father figure, have reached out to tell him how much his videos have helped and inspired them. Kenny has a passion for empowering others to learn to do things for themselves.

Lowe's heard about Kenny's videos and loved the way he's encouraging other fathers to keep building new inventions and fun activities for their kids. The home improvement retail company decided to team up with Kenny for a huge Father's Day promotion, but first, they surprised the DIY dad with a truckload of tools, so he can continue to make his videos and inspire others.

Now the two are coming together to surprise other dads around the country for the holiday! They want to recognize those fathers that have stepped up and really put in the extra effort for their families, whether it's creating an outdoor obstacle course or an at-home hibachi grill. Many dads have taken on impressive projects during the pandemic and together Lowe's and Kenny will be surprising 10 different dads with $5,000 Lowe's gift cards.

You can nominate a dad who has really risen to the occasion by posting about what he has been building using the hashtag #DadBuiltThis and tagging @dadhowdoi and @loweshomeimprovement.

Throughout next week, the DIY dad will be selecting the stories that stand out to him the most and giving those dads gift cards, so they can buy the tools they need to keep building and help bolster their creativity.

If you ever need to figure out a common household project and are unsure how to do it, check out the 'Dad, How Do I?' YouTube channel because Kenny breaks down each issue and gives you a very easy to digest solution.
