Many celebrities have been advocating for the #StayHome campaign on social media or donating money to various relief funds and local businesses during this COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, but Matthew McConaughey did something different to help his community.

The actor, director, and producer was the special bingo caller during a virtual game with seniors that are in isolation.

With his family, McConaughey entertained the residents of the Enclave Round Rock Senior Living Home, an independent and assisted living facility outside of Austin, Texas over the weekend.

Through the use of video chat, McConaughey was able to call the bingo game while also talking and joking around with the residents about his family heritage and favorite drink.

The residents were thrilled that McConaughey hosted their virtual game and they wrote on Facebook thanking him and his family for their time and their love and support during the lockdown.

Many senior living facilities are getting creative to help their residents stay safe, engaged, and busy during this social distancing period since there are no longer any visitors permitted into the home.

The Enclave, along with hosting virtual meetups, has hosted parties where residents are encouraged to go out and dance on their balconies! It is the little things we can all do to help each other stay safe, healthy, and active during the pandemic.
