Ryan Hurd released his Platonic EP back in September (if you haven't listened to it yet, I strongly encourage you to do so!) and the last song on it 'Wish For The World' had quickly become a fan favorite.

Hurd wrote the ballad as a traditional country song with a diary entry feel and he performs it with just an acoustic guitar while on tour. He actually ended all of his shows on the Platonic Tour with the hopeful song telling the crowd that this is what he wishes for them. It's a simple song with a simple message, the perfect one we need right now during this uncertain time.

Unfortunately, Hurd had to cancel the rest of his Platonic Tour dates due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but he wanted to give his fans something special even if they did not have the opportunity to see him on tour.

He took all the live footage from the tour and put it together for the "Wish for the World" music video.

The music video begins with a message reading "Attention: Please Pause And Join Us For 3 Deep Breaths" then cuts to a clip of Hurd with all his bandmates doing that exact same thing, which became their pre show ritual.

The rest of the video shows crowd interactions, backstage footage, and on-stage shenanigans.
