Chris Young and Lauren Alaina Team Up For New Song 'Town Ain't Big Enough'

July 18, 2019

Chris Young has done it again! He teamed up with powerhouse vocalist Lauren Alaina to deliver us another break up anthem. The new song, 'Town Ain't Big Enough,' has been offically released and is sure to be another hit for the both of them!

The two first unveiled the song back in June during CMA Fest. Young was playing a show at Ole Red, Blake Shelton's Bar in downtown Nashville, and he invited Alaina on stage to sing the duet for the first time in front of a sold out crowd! The fans had no idea she was even there! (I wish I could've been there for this moment)

When @chrisyoungmusic wants to collaborate with you, you DUET. Go listen to Town Ain't Big Enough now! Link in Bio!

Both Young and Alaina are no stranger to chart topping duets, as Young had a massive hit, 'Think of You,' with Cassadee Pope a few years ago and Alaina was featured on Kane Brown's #1 single 'What Ifs.'

'Town Ain't Big Enough' will be featured on Young's forthcoming album Raised on Country that is set for release later this year. The song was writen by Young, Carey Barlowe, Corey Crowder, and Shay Mooney of the dynamic duo Dan + Shay! Mooney actually sings background vocals on the song, which just makes it THAT much more incredible!

The song clearly the paints the picture of the how difficult it is to break up in a small town (no Sam Hunt pun intended) because they keep running into each other's friends and all the memories keep flooding back. This single is so relatable, it actually hurts.

BUT overall it is an amazing break up anthem and we are stoked to hear more from Young's new album later this year!
