Texas native, Cody Johnson, took a break from his tour in St. Louis earlier this year to take over our US*99 Facebook page and answer some fan questions!

Johnson joked as soon as he started the live stream that he had no clue what he was doing. He admitted this was his first solo Facebook Live and he needed a lot of help from his team. (pictured below)

New Braunfels! Thank you for a weekend to remember, y’all brought the party and SOLD OUT both nights!

He went on to answer some fan questions and joke around with the US*99 listeners.

We found out a lot about him including that his favorite food is Mexican and he even has a burrito named after him in East Texas. (Isn't that the dream?!)

His favorite activity to do when he has a free weekend is to hangout with his wife and two small daughters. Aren't they so adorable?!

Happy Mother’s Day to my wife and the backbone of our family. I couldn’t live this dream without you, Brandi, thank you for giving me the two best gifts I could ever ask for, our little girls.

One listener asked about Johnson's tattoo on his hand and he said he was actually bringing a tattoo artist out on tour with him this year to help finish his sleeve. He wants to pay tribute to his Texas heritage with feathers and pine trees as well as a piece for his family on his upper arm.

Johnson answered that his favorite spot to play in Chicago is none other than Joe's Bar! His whole teamed agreed that Joe's is the best spot for country music!

Earlier in February, he was on tour with Justin Moore and they stopped at the Rosemont Theatre!

His single 'On My Way To You' was just certified GOLD! Click here to join #COJONATION and see the rest of his tour dates!

Yesterday I had no idea I was going to be presented with my very first GOLD plaque for my single #OnMyWayToYou. I couldn’t have done this without @wmnashville, country radio, every single fan, and #COJONATION! Y’all have changed my life and I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you for making this possible!!!
