At just 14 years old, Tim Bannon is an inspiration to everyone.

Bannon was born without arms, but he is beating the odds and competing in the Chicago Triathlon this weekend!

The incoming Proviso West high schooler is set to run 1.24 miles, swim 200 meters and bike 4.4 miles in the Life Time Kids Tri Chicago race Saturday during the Chicago Triathlon.

He won't stop there, next week he is trying out for his high school football team as a kicker! Even though people are worried for his safety he said he's not because kickers normally do not get tackled and even if he does he will roll with it.

Bannon became a viral sensation when a video of him overcoming one of his fears and jumping onto a workout box was posted online.

After that video, he began building strength through Du Quoin-based NubAbility, the disability program where he made the viral jump-box video.

This summer he began training with Dare2tri, a local Chicago-based program that helps people with disabilities and physical impairments compete in sports.

Bannon receives his strength from his training, but more importantly from his mother who was also born without arms due to Holt-Oram syndrome. She has always pushed Bannon to try his hardest and not let his disability get in the way of his dreams. She is set to compete in the Sunday Chicago triathlon as well!

Bannon is the epitome of what hard work and dedication can help one achieve! #GoodVibes
