Every Reason Why You Need To See Matt Stell at US*99 LakeShake!

Next From Nashville Artist Spotlight

May 17, 2019

Matt Stell is no stranger to the stage; he has opened for some of country music's biggest stars, including LakeShake headliner Luke Brayn, as well as other power-house artists like Eric Church, Chris Stapleton and Jake Owen. You can catch him on the Next From Nashville Stage the second day of US*99 Country LakeShake, June 22nd. Here are just a few of the MANY reasons why you shouldn't miss his set!

1. Similar to fellow country stars Brett Young & Sam Hunt, music wasn't Stell's first love. Originally Stell was all-in on basketball, even playing in college.

2. You can get weekly, new performances by him on both Instagram and Facebook Live for his "Matt's Manic Music Monday" segment.

It’s that time! See y’all in a little while. On @facebook live too!

3. While in college, Stell began playing guitar during his off-season and started booking gigs around town. He did not want his basketball coach to find out, though, so he played under the alias Paul Wayne Walker.

4. He JUST made his Grand Ole Opry debut on April 27th!

His current single "Prayed For You" is climbing the charts and we cannot wait to hear him sing it live on Saturday, June 22nd!!
