Carrie Underwood Has Some New Competition #GoodVibes

With Jason Pullman

Back in March, a video of 9-year-old Savannah went viral after she signed and danced to Carrie Underwood's empowering anthem 'The Champion.'

Savannah's father posted the video hoping to get the singer's attention and possibly a meeting.

Underwood saw the video and immediately responded saying she would love to meet Savannah, who is deaf but loves signing and listening to music.

Over the weekend that possible meeting became a reality! AND she was able to sign with her hero!

Savannah! You bring so much joy to #TheChampion! Thank you for such a special moment last night in D.C. --

Savannah, her parents, and her two siblings who are all deaf, not only went back and met Carrie Underwood, but also sat front row during her concert!

It was truly a night they will never forget.

Savannah was born with moderate to severe hearing loss and uses sign language to communicate, but she also benefits from hearing aids and can hear music through a different process. Her dad explained that she first memorizes song lyrics then matches the beat of the music to the lyrics. She is an amazing little girl that does not let her disability stop her from living a full life and doing what she loves! We could all learn a thing or two from Savannah and her enthusiasm for life! #GoodVibes
