It's a wish come true for a Naperville writer who has always wanted to write for Disney! Erin Feeney has cerebral palsy, but she doesn't let that hold her back. Now her hard work is paying off.

From a young age, Feeney has loved both Disney and writing, so naturally, she put the two ideas together and decided that she would love to write for Disney!

The journey began back in 2017 when she was invited to Disney on Ice and was able to meet the author of Disney Junior's "Doc McStuffins."

The author, Shea Fontana read all fo Feeney's work and was blown away by her passion and talent. She asked Feeney to write an episode for the show to really put her talent to the test.

The story that Feeney wrote is about a bird named Topsy who can't keep up with her flock. Topsy doesn't have a tail and the Doc McStuffins crew helps her.

Erin's dream came true and her episode of Doc McStuffins premiered Monday, January 13 at 6:55 a.m. on the Disney Channel, and 3:55 p.m. on Disney Junior. It will also be available on the DisneyNOW app and on the Disney Junior YouTube page.

How many people can actually look back and say they're living their dream? #GoodVibes
