The Chicago Teacher's strike is officially over after 11 school days and students and back in class today!

  • Chicago Public Schools and the CTU reached a tentative contract agreement.
  • Five of the missed school days during the strike will be made up.
  • The union was fighting for compensation for all 11 days, but settled for half. 

President Trump says he will be making Palm Beach, Florida, his permanent residence after he leaves the White House, rather than returning to Trump Tower in New York.

  • Trump, who was born in New York City tweeted that he cherishes his hometown.
  • He added that despite the fact that he pays millions of dollars in taxes each year, he has been treated very badly by the political leaders of both the city and the state.
