Trivia whiz Ken Jennings was stumped by a Boston-related question during the first hour-long match of “Jeopardy! GOAT” last night.

  • Jennings, Naperville's own James Holzhauer, and Brad Rutter are competing to become the show’s “Greatest of all Time.”
  • The clue read: “This Boston-born architect designed the Massachusetts statehouse and from 1818 to 1829 served as architect of the US Capitol.” Jennings eked out a win against Holzhauer: finishing the night with $63,400, while Holzhauer received $63,200. Rutter trailed at $10,400.
  • The first to win all three matches will receive $1 million; the two others each receive $250,000.
