Forbes annual list of the 100 Most Powerful Women is out and Oprah Winfrey, of course, made the list this year, landing at #20.

  • Serena Williams (81) and Reese Witherspoon (90) were also recognized. 
  • On the music side, Rihanna makes the list for the very first time and actually is the highest-ranking pop star, at 61, followed by Beyoncé at 66 and Taylor Swift at 71.
  •  As for the overall most powerful woman, that honor goes to German chancellor Angela Merkel.

Federal regulators are setting up a new three-digit number to reach a suicide prevention hotline in order to make it easier to seek help and reduce the stigma associated with mental health.

  •  Once it's implemented, people will just need to dial 988 to seek help, similar to calling 911 for emergencies or 311 for city services.
  • Currently, the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline uses a 10-digit number, 800-273-TALK (8255).
  • Callers are routed to one of 163 crisis centers, where counselors answered 2.2 million calls last year.​

Facebook collected country-specific topics in 13 countries and is predicting what'll be big for all of us in 2020.

  • We will all be eating Kimchi, a south Korean vegetable dish, that will heal your gut.
  • In continuing the 2019 trend of self-care- specifically Milk Baths will be big in 2020. 
  • Becoming a "plant parent" - adding plants and succulents to your house, 80s clothing, and becoming a Flexitarian....plant based diet that occasionally incorporates meat & fish.
