Some Illinois lawmakers are pushing a bill to bring gas station attendants back.

  • The point of the bill, if approved and signed, is to increase jobs in the community.
  • New Jersey is currently the only state that forbids drivers from pumping their own gas.
  • If passed, this will go into effect on Jan 1st next year.

China has launched an app that allows people to check whether they have been at risk of catching the coronavirus. 

  • The 'close contact detector' tells users if they have been near a person who has been confirmed or suspected of having the virus

Locally, a non-profit here in Chicago called Project Cure Chicago has donated supplies, masks, and other items to China to help in their efforts to stop the Coronavirus.

It's Crossing Guard Appreciation Month!

  •  When you're dropping off the kids this morning or picking them up later today, be sure to thank the crossing guard. 
  • Maybe they don't even know it's their month!
  • It kicks off this week and lasts until mid - March. Thank God for those guards standing out in the elements keeping our children safe at school!

New research says life gets better later in life

  • Specifically, 54 is the age we can all look forward to where we will be at our peak happiness.
  • It turns out 30s are tough 40s aren't good, but 54 is where it’s at.
  • It has to do with being comfortable in your own skin, relationships with family and friends, and having more realistic expectations for yourself.
