A wonderful sign of the holiday season is here in Chicago!

  • The Millennium Park ice rink opens today.
  • Admission is FREE, but if you don't have your own skates you will need to pay for rentals. 
  • The rink will remain open until March 8th

The shooting at a Southern California high school yesterday left two students dead and 3 wounded.

  • The 16-year-old shooter was a student at the school.  
  • Authorities are searching his home, phone and computer for answers on why, but at this point the motive is unclear.
  • The shooter is listed in critical condition after shooting himself in the head.

Today is Day Two of the impeachment trial and House Democrats are moving full steam ahead against President Donald Trump as they hold several public hearings with key witnesses in the Ukraine controversy. 

  • Next up to testify this morning is the former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine. 

World's largest Starbucks opens today right here in Chicago!

  • The location will roast 200,000 pounds of coffee a year.
  • It has five floors, including an outdoor rooftop, and spans 35,000 square feet.
  • Starbucks CEO said, "Throughout history, Starbucks has had a very close relationship with the city of Chicago". 
  • The Starbucks Reserve Roastery Chicago is located at 646 N. Michigan Avenue and opens at 9 am.

  • Bulls lost to Milwaukee
  • The Bears face the Rams in LA on Sunday
  • Things got ugly at the end The Steelers and Browns game last night.
    • Browns defensive end Myles Garrett ripped Steelers Quarterback Mason Rudolph helmet off his head and hit him with it. Two other players jumped in to join... they all got kicked out of the game. At the end of the drama, it was Browns over Steelers 21-7
