Blake Shelton visited the Today show and revealed that he kind of regrets not having any children of his own.

The country star admitted that by getting to know Gwen Stefani's three boys, he came to the conclusion that he missed out on fatherhood.

Well, at least being a father to his own brood.

"At this point in my life, I kind of had put [having kids> as like, ‘Well, that wasn’t meant to be,’" he tells the co-hosts. "Then all of a sudden it happens one way or another and it’s like, ‘Wow, I really missed out on a lot.'"

Thankfully, life has a way of working itself out and he's been blessed with a stepdad role to his girlfriend's kids, Apollo, 4, Zuma, 9, and Kingston James McGregor, 11.

"Having them around ... I don’t even know how to describe it. It’s so much fun,” The Voice coach shares.

"There's days where you go, ‘Oh my God, when does school start?'" he said of opening his home up to the kiddos, who are also very fond of him. "An hour later you’re going, 'God, I can’t wait ’til they get home!' ... They’re so damn funny. It’s just my first time being around it, and it’s easy to fall in love with those kids."

Blake and Gwen seem to be very family-oriented and we seriously love that about them!

And it seems like Shelton is putting to rest the rumors he and Stefani are trying for a baby together.
