Ryan Hurd Does Not Like Electric Scooters

June 18, 2019

Ryan Hurd has personified summer in his brand new single, "Her Name Was Summer."

The single capitalizes on country music nostalgia and forces a lover to confront the memories of what used to be.

Hurd, who grew up in Kalamazoo, Michigan and moved to Nashville to pursue music, has been making noise in the industry not only as an entertainer but also a prolific songwriter.

Hurd's songwriting credits include Luke Bryan's "Sunrise, Sunburn, Sunset" and Lady Antebellum's "What If I Never Get Over You."

During his "To A T" tour, Hurd has been selling out venues and occassionally even dueting with his country crooner wife, Maren Morris, who also played Lakeshake!

Morris and Hurd have quickly risen to the ranks of country's cutest couples after tying the knot in an intimate wedding in 2018.

Something we did not know about Ryan before Lakeshake though was he hates electric scooters! He said if he ruled the world he would get rid of scooters.

"That's an unpopular opinion, but those are just litter!

"They are everywhere, they are just dangerous - we've [Nashville] had people actually die on them...I am out on the scooters...Just take an Uber."

After Lakeshake, you can see him again playing TaxSlayer Center in Moline, IL on November 23 as part of Old Dominion's "You Make It Sweet" tour.
